Golden koi are symbolic of love, good fortune, and strength. Put a different spin on your own watercolor painting of Koi fish. Harmonizing shape, color, and movement will reinforce the feeling of a quiet moment found while peering into the shallows of a fishpond.

Jennifer Helner is realist watercolor painter of flowers, landscapes, and creative lettering, as well as the owner of Scripted Expressions Studio located in Lowell, Michigan. She achieved her BFA in painting from Wayne State University in 1991. After graduating, Jennifer learned the craft of custom framing under a master framer, and continues to create and educate in the arts.
